What is madd?

Madd is a name for the fruit of the Saba senegalensis vine. Saba fruits are known by different names across Africa; Casamadd currently sources its fruit in Casamance, Senegal. It's tart, slightly sweet, and spoonable — we jar it whole.

What's in each jar?

Madd Royal — The Original: madd fruit, cane sugar, salt.
Madd Rouge Impérial (aka MaddNada): madd, mango, chamoy sauce, chamoy pulp, sugar, salt, cayenne pepper, and a tamarind stick.
Madd Royal Passion: madd with passionfruit.
